Powered by Cultural Heritage Economic Alliance, Inc.. (CHEA), the Black Cultural Heritage Tours Collective (BCHT) is a network of Black tour operators offering curated collection of local, authentic and immersive single and multi-day Black cultural heritage tour experiences that provide connections to people and places that have shaped Black communities and cultures from the past to the present in the U.S. and Africa.

We partner with a network of small, Black-owned tour operators and guides to help them access domestic and international markets to offer  their tour products to a global travel audience. CHEA aims to level the playing field and create equitable opportunities  for small Black businesses from urban and rural communities to leverage tourism as an economic driver for business sustainability, scalability and profitability. 

We are are intentional in our collective efforts to amplify truth telling and preserving Black history, heritage neighborhoods and historic sites respectfully through authentic storytelling by our tour partners. Tours are crafted with care to provide transformative experiences for culturally curious travelers who seek to learn about the full American story while acknowledging and celebrating the contributions of unknown and little known Black trailblazers, inventors and activists.
